  Wir haben eine Nacht in diesem B&B verbracht. Unser Zimmer war die Empire Suite. Ein Whirlpool mit Chromatherapie (Farblicht) im Bad, gemütliche und geschmackvolle Polstermöbel und genügend Platz garantieren einen entspannenden Aufenthalt. Die Suite und das gesamte Gebäude wurden mit großer Liebe zum Detail renoviert bzw. restauriert. Die Gastgeber, ursprünglich Österreicher, waren sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das B&B verfügt über ein sehr komfortables Wohnzimmer, dass sich bestens zum Bücher - oder Email-Lesen (per gratis-WiFi) eignet. Desweiteren findet man dort eine Rarität, zumindest für Kanada, nämlich eine Kapsel-Kaffeemaschine mit richtigem Kaffee. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und können das B&B vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen.

  I inadvertently booked a one night stay on the wrong date. When my son and I arrived in the evening after a long drive, I explained my mistake. The owner said I was responsible the next night's stay regardless of my mistake, and could accommodate us for that night. Naturally, she only had a room $30.00 more expensive. One night's stay turned into $262.00. I feel she took advantage of us and could have only charged us a partial fee instead of a full night's stay. She was snobby and condescending, and very short with us -- even after I paid $262.00 for one night!! She advertises free WIFI. Our room did not have service and I could only get two bars in the common area. The television in our room was situated so only one person could watch it comfortably. Coffee and Tea are available in the common room, but there was no bottled water available in this area or in our room. My french toast was good but the two pieces of bread were smaller than normal. My son's bacon was stiff as a board. It was definitely microwaved -- hardly a hearty breakfast. This is a very ancient house with a strong musty smell throughout; including in the sheets. The smell gave me a headache. I would not recommend this B&B.

  The pictures are accurate and it is a clean bed & breakfast, but the unnecessary rules enforced by the establishment's proprietors made staying here unenjoyable.
